First Team squad

WAYNE ALLSOPP. DEFENDER.
Very experienced defender who has joined The Snipes
this season. a very talented player who is 35years
old, still has a lot to offer in the game and works
hard, and still has a few tricks that the younger
players in the squad are amazed with. Very fit and
passes the ball with expert control with either foot.
Previous Clubs are Blackwell Miners Welfare, Pinxton Town

DANNY LOVE. MIDFIELD/RIGHTWING.
New signing this season, still only 17 years old but has
bags of skill and talent, very quick and a right menace
for defenders, a likable character . Has also represented
England Youth Team, and is one game short of his first
cap. Previous Clubs are Birmingham City and Heanor Town

ASHLEY WAKELIN. DEFENDER/CENTRE HALF.
New Signing November 2007. Big strong defender
/ centre half, who will always give you 110%.
Very good in the air, and a must in the 18 yard
box for the set pieces. Very tough player who
wants to win everything, fairly and honestly.
Is the managers son, but thats where it ends,
he still gets treated like all the other squad
members, fairly, still has to fight for his place every week

SHAUN ARCHBOLD. LEFT BACK/LEFT MIDFIELD
New Signing this season, who has thanked the management
team for bringing him back to a Club that has faith in his
ability, as he was recently playing for his local pub team on
a Sunday morning. He is a quality player who can play in the
heart of defence or midfield, and he is deadly
at free kicks around the 18 yard box, very likeable
squad member. Previous  Clubs include
Mansfield Town and Heanor Town
